Clash! Banryuu vs. Wind Scar!

[ Prologue ]

INU:   It's now time for Inuyasha!

KAG:  To find the Sacred Jewel fragments,

INU:   I have to defeat Naraku with this Tetsusaiga!

KAG:  The Shichinintai have finally gathered. The strongest zombie, Bankotsu. His Banryuu sword and Inuyasha’s Tetsusaiga are about to meet!

INU:   Miroku and Sango and Shippo and Kirara!

KAG:  An excitng adventure unfolds!

INU & KAG: Inuyasha!

[ ACT I ]

Recap from previous episode. The remaining four Shichinintai are gathered at a castle. A whirlwind stops in front of BKS and JKS, revealing Koga.

KOG:  You guys are the Shichinintai, aren't you?

KOG leaps forth and JKS lashes his blade at him. KOG sprints towards JKS. Suddenly, GKS releases a cannonball at KOG. The smoke dissipates and KOG lands.

KOG:  Damn!

BKS swings his sword at KOG, who leaps and lands on a roof. BKS smirks. GKS releases more cannonballs at KOG, who dodges all. JKS then lashes his sword at him, but in vain.

BKS:   (jumps and spins Banryuu) Stop jumping around!

KOG is not in time to dodge Banryuu, and looks at BKS, stupefied. INU suddenly rushes out and blocks Banryuu with TET. The blades clash and BKS's hand tremble a little from the impact. BKS looks at INU, surprised.

INU:   (lands and points TET) Get out of the way, wimpy wolf! I found you, Shichinintai.

BKS smirks.

[ Title screen: Clash! Banryuu vs. Wind Scar! ]

JKS:   (excited) Inuyasha!

INU:   (fierce) Shut up!

JKS sulks.

BKS:   So, you're Inuyasha? That's ridiculous power you have.

INU:   Damn! You're the last of the Shichinintai?

BKS:   Yes. I'm the leader, Bankotsu.

INU:   Stupid demon! You guys teamed up and bullied the lone wimpy wolf.

KOG:  Stupid dog-face! (thumps INU's head) Who was being bullied?

INU:   Shut up! Your Sacred Jewel fragments are nearly being stolen!

KOG:  Heh! I'm not that stupid!

The rest of the INU-gang arrive at the scene.

MIR:   (chiding) Inuyasha.

KAG:  Koga?!

KOG:  (smiles to KAG) Yo!

INU:   You guys are late.

BKS:   Oh, they've come. Everyone's assembled.

INU-gang and KOG face off the five Shichinintai.

INU:   You bastards… You've done so many evil deeds! I'm going to send you back to your graves.

BKS:   Same to you. I'm going to avenge my brothers, Kyokotsu and Mukotsu.

MIR:   The man who possess the Banryuu sword should be the leader.

SAN:  Well, he looks really young.

KAG scrutinizes BKS and gasps.

SAN:  What's wrong, Kagome?

KAG:  Be careful, Inuyasha. He has three fragments in his neck!

INU:   What?

BKS:   (laughs) The fragments belong to Mukotsu and Kyokotsu.

KOG:  (jeers) I thought you were pretty strong. So that's what it was.

SHI:   Their Sacred Jewel fragments should be given by Naraku!

BKS seems irritated.

SHI:   (hides behind KAG) What…?

INU:   Reviving a bunch of wimpy murderers like you… It's just like Naraku's style!

BKS:   That's right! Using the power of these Sacred Jewel fragments, we'll be able to kill all of you. (steps forth and points Banryuu at INU)

INU:   I'll rip you apart!

BKS:   Sure, let's fight!

Both INU and BKS swing their swords and the blades clash. They try to push each other off.

MIR:   It's such a tough fight!

SAN:  That's right!

RKS:  (scoffs) What an interesting show!

RKS fires GKS's cannon at the rest of INU-gang. SAN and MIR manage to dodge.

MIR:   Kagome!

SAN:  Kagome!

INU:   (turns around) Kagome? Kagome!

BKS:   (pushes Banryuu) Where are you looking? You should only be worrying about yourself!

BKS leaps and swings Banryuu at INU, who blocks. Cut to KOG landing with KAG in his arms.

KOG:  Are you alright, Kagome?

KAG:  Y-Yeah.

INU:   (thinking) She's safe? (shouts) Hey, Koga! I'll compliment you for protecting Kagome!

KOG:  Bastard, stop talking nonsense!

KAG:  Thank you, Koga.

KOG:  Kagome, you have to hide yourself somewhere. Those guys are after the Sacred Jewel fragments in my legs.

KAG:  But!

RKS, on GKS, move towards KAG and KOG.

KAG:  (thinking) The one called Renkotsu… He was the one who took the Sacred Jewel fragments from me. He still has them!

RKS:  (thinking, looks at the fragments in his clothes) I see. That young girl can see the Sacred Jewel fragments.

Cut to INU and BKS fighting.

INU:   You bastard!!

RKS:  (thinking) If Brother Bankotsu finds out I keep it from them, he won't forgive me. (points at KAG) Ginkotsu! Aim for that young girl!

MIR:   What? Kagome!

SHI:   Run away quickly, Kagome!

RKS:  Hurry up and kill her!

KOG:  It's not as easy as you think, bastard! (leaps forth)

KAG:  Koga!

GKS fires at KOG, who manages to dodge while running towards GKS and RKS. KOG leaps high above RKS.

RKS:  What?!

KOG:  You think those things are going to hit me?

KOG claws at RKS, but RKS leaps off GKS and dodges the blow. MIR moves in front of KAG.

MIR:   You have to get away from the cannon.

KAG:  No, I have to get back the fragments.

MIR:   The fragments?

KAG:  That guy took the Sacred Jewel fragments.

SHI:   Go for it, Miroku!

MIR:   Leave it to me.

MIR runs towards KOG and RKS, but is blocked by SKS.

SKS:  I won't let you go any further!

MIR:   Suikotsu!

SKS:  You'll be fighting with me. You know, I really hate doctors and priests!

MIR:   You're a doctor, though!

SKS and MIR start to fight. Cut to JKS frowning.

JKS:   They did it again. Everyone has gotten their right opponents. (looks at SAN, unimpressed) So, this is all that's left for me?

SAN:  Do you think I'm not your match?

JKS:   It's no fun wasting my time with a female opponent.

SAN glares at JKS.

JKS:   Go to hell!

JKS lashes his sword at SAN, who blocks with HIR.

SAN:  Don't make fun of me! (unsheathes sword and runs forth)

Cut to large KIR facing off GKS. GKS points his cannons at KIR and laughs. Cut to INU and BKS fighting.

BKS:   (scoffs) I didn't expect a half-demon to be as strong as this. But why couldn't Naraku defeat you?

INU:   What?!

BKS:   Is that all you've got?

INU:   Bastard, if you know where Naraku's whereabouts, hurry up and tell me!

BKS:   What a stupid question! If you want to know Naraku's whereabouts, you should ask my Banryuu sword!

Cut to JAK and Rin at the base of Mount Hakurei. JAK and A-Un are lying on the ground, looking unwell.

Rin:  What a large mountain, Grandpa Jaken!

JAK:   I feel awful. Why did I have to come to such place…

Rin:  What's the matter, Grandpa Jaken?

JAK:   I'm in pain!

Rin:  What?

JAK:   (gets up and walks away slowly) Could this Mount Hakurei be a sacred ground? There is a purity here that makes it difficult for a demon to breathe. You probably don't feel anything because you're a human.

Rin:  (pulls JAK forward by his clothes) Let's go further and check it out, Grandpa Jaken.

JAK:   (thinking, perspiring) This girl wasn't listening to anything I said…

As Rin pulls JAK nearer and nearer to the mountain, JAK feels worse.

JAK:   (breaks free and runs away) N-no! I don't want to go!

Rin is bewildered. Cut to JAK resting on A-Un.

JAK:   A lump of evil like Naraku shouldn't be in this place. Lord Sesshomaru, why…?

Cut to SES walking towards the mountain. A barrier appears and he stops.

SES:   (thinking) A holy barrier? I can't get close. To look for Kohaku, Naraku's follower, I came here by following his scent. But there's no scent at all now…

SES turns around and walks off.

Back with Rin, JAK and A-Un.

Rin:  Lord Sesshomaru is late!

JAK:   (thinking) I want to go soon.

Rin:  I wonder where he went.

JAK:   (thinking) I wonder if he will come and save me.

Up ahead, KOH is seen walking into the valley of Mount Hakurei.

Rin:  (thinking) Kohaku? There's no mistake. It's Kohaku! (runs after KOH)

JAK:   (chases) Hey, Rin! Don't go out on your own! Lord Sesshomaru will scold me if I don't go with you!

A barrier appears and fries JAK.

JAK:   (stops, horrified) I was almost purified. (gasps and looks ahead) Rin! She's gone… (collapses on ground)

Cut to KOH on a ledge. He jumps off and enters a cave. As he walks deeper into the dark cave, Rin comes running.

Rin:  Kohaku! Kohaku!

KOH:  (shocked) You?

Rin:  I'm glad to meet you again!

KOH:  Rin, why are you here?

Rin:  After we were separated, I was worried about you.

KOH:  Go back. This isn't a place for you.

Demons appear and lurk in the dark corners of the cave. KOH stands in front of Rin.

Rin:  What's wrong?

KOH:  (whispers) Be quiet.

The demons are lurking, inching forward. Rin gasps and hides behind KOG.

KOH:  Go back slowly. Before they notice you.

Rin:  Kohaku…

KOH:  Hurry! If they find you, they'll kill you.

Rin:  (worried) Kohaku… Kohaku, what about you?

KOH:  They won't attack me. Go!

Rin nods and runs off.

Rin:  (thinking) Kohaku.

Rin takes a glance at KOH who is facing the horde of demons.

Back at the castle. MIR and SKS are fighting. SKS claws at MIR, who blocks with his scepter.

SKS:  Go to hell! Priest!

MIR:   I won't die easily!

SAN:  (on roof top looking on) Miroku!

JKS:   (on roof top) Don't look somewhere else!

JKS lashes his sword at SAN, who dodges and swings HIR. JKS jumps. Cut to KOG facing off RKS.

RKS:  (swings a ball of fire) I'll roast you with the flames of Hell! (throws fireball at KOG)

KOG:  (dodges) That kind of thing won't work on me!

Cut to KIR flying in the air. GKS fires at her. Cut to INU and BKS fighting. Suddenly Poison Insects appear in the sky.

SHI:   Naraku's poisonous bugs.

KOG:  Saimyoushou!

RKS:  Could we have to surrender?

JKS:   What's wrong?

The Poison Insects buzz to BKS.

BKS:   (looks at insects) Shut up. I'm going to finish them off. (faces INU) I wanted to enjoy it a bit longer. Inuyasha, I'll let you off now!

INU:   Keh! That's what I was going to tell you! Take this! Wind Scar!!

INU jumps and throws a Wind Scar at BKS, who is stupefied. GKS throws wires at INU to hold him down, but misses.

INU:   (to GKS) You're too late!

BKS:   (looks at the Wind Scar rushing towards him, thinking) Could this be Wind Scar?

BKS holds up Banryuu. Cut to Wind Scar destroying the buildings behind BKS. Everyone stops their fight and looks on.

JKS:   Brother Bankotsu!

SHI:   He did it!

Cut to the smoke dissipating. Only Banryuu is seen on the ground.

INU:   Keh! Go to hell, all these idiots!

INU gasps. BKS appears from behind Banryuu and scrutinizes a crack on Banryuu angrily.

BKS:   Damn! You wounded my Banryuu sword. Ginkotsu. Well done, you saved me.

GKS chuckles. The Poison Insects hover above BKS again.

BKS:   (irritated) I got it already. (points Banryuu at INU) Inuyasha, this is all for today.

INU:   Bastard, don't try to escape!

KOG:  (to RKS) Don't think that I'll let you off easily.

RKS takes a sip from his gourd and spews fire at KOG.

KOG:  (jumps) Shit!

RKS jumps on GKS and they move towards KAG.

RKS:  (thinking) She is the only one left…

KOG:  Kagome!

RKS:  (thinking) It's better to kill her now! (shouts) Fire!

GKS fires a cannon at KAG. Both KAG and SHI shriek, horrified.

INU:   Kagome!

The cannon hits somewhere near KAG and SHI and a loud explosion ensues.

MIR:   Kagome!

Cut to KIR landing with KAG and SHI on her back. KAG gets off and draws an arrow.

KAG:  Renkotsu! You're not getting away!

KAG fires a Sacred Arrow at RKS, but misses him by a little. RKS is shocked. KAG draws another arrow but the ground below her suddenly cracks and caves in.

INU:   Kagome! (grabs KAG)

Cut to the Shichinintai moving away from the castle on GKS.

BKS:   (peeved) How exaggerated. It seems he wants us to return hastily. Bye bye yo!

INU:   Bastards… I won't let you get away!

INU chases them, but a mound of soil suddenly bursts out of the ground and blocks INU's way. The soil crumbles to reveal NAR (in baboon suit). Everyone is shocked.

NAR:  Inuyasha, it's been a while.

INU:   Na-Naraku!

[ End of ACT I: 14min 39sec ]

[ ACT II ]

At the base of Mount Hakurei. JAK is kowtowing nervously to SES.

JAK:   I'm so sorry! Please forgive me, Lord Sesshomaru! Before I could stop Rin…

SES:   Rin is inside the barrier?

SES walks towards the valley. JAK blocks his way.

JAK:   You mustn't go, Lord Sesshomaru. If you step on the sacred grounds, you will be completely purified!

SES:   Be quiet. Look behind you.

Rin comes running cheerfully out of the valley.

JAK:   That's… Rin?

Rin:  Lord Sesshomaru!

SES:   Kohaku was inside, wasn't he?

Rin is shocked and looks at SES.

JAK:   Be honest. Lord Sesshomaru's nose is very sensitive!

Rin:  (worried, thinking) I wonder if Lord Sesshomaru intends to kill Kohaku? (to SES) Y-You know, Kohaku allowed Rin to escape. There were lots of demons inside the cave.

SES:   What? (thinking) Demons?

Rin:  Kohaku protected me from the demons. Then…

SES:   (thinking) There are demons within these sacred grounds?

Rin:  Lord Sesshomaru?

SES:   (thinking) I've figured it out. Naraku's trick.

Back with NAR and INU-gang.

NAR:  (laughs) You bastards did well to make your way here.

INU:   Bastard!

MIR:   Inuyasha, perhaps this Naraku is…

KOG:  It must be a puppet.

INU:   Stalling time for the Shichinintai to escape, are you?

NAR just laughs.

KAG:  (thinking) What is this…? (to SAN) This is a puppet, isn't it?

SAN:  Yeah, this must be Naraku's puppet.

SHI:   What are you saying, Kagome?

KAG:  (thinking) But… It's different compared to the other puppets which he used before.

KOG:  It's useless, anyway! (sprints towards NAR)

INU:   Koga, you bastard!

Tentacles rush out from under NAR's baboon suit.

NAR:  I won't let you pass through.

SHI:   H-he's blocking our exit!

SAN:  (stands in front of KAG) Kagome.

KAG:  Sango.

The tentacles move towards the group. MIR tries to fight them off with his scepter.

INU:   (scoffs) This kind of thing… Wind Scar!

INU throws a Wind Scar which destroys the tentacles and NAR's puppet. Purple pieces fall out from inside the tentacles.

NAR:  I won't… let you… pass through…

NAR's puppet is reduced to a pile on the ground.

KOG:  (jumps past NAR) Alright!

INU:   Koga, you're getting ahead of us, are you?

KOG:  Shut up, stupid dog-face! With your speed, the Shichinintai would have gotten away! (thinking) They shouldn't have gotten that far yet. I won't let them off!

INU:   Bastard, wait a minute!

KAG:  Hold on, Inuyasha. (kneels around the pile of NAR's puppet)

MIR:   Have you noticed anything, Kagome?

INU:   What's up, guys?

KAG:  There's something strange about this puppet. It's clean for some reason.

INU:   What do you mean that it's clean?

KAG:  It's like Mount Hakurei.

INU:   Mount Hakurei?

SHI:   (sniffs the pile) What? It has a nice smell.

SAN:  This puppet has the scent of water and flowers.

MIR:   Water and flowers?

INU:   Yeah, that's right! But, why does Naraku's puppet have this scent?

Cut to KOG sprinting towards Mount Hakurei.

KOG:  Where are you? Where have you run off to?

A barrier appears and blocks his way.

KOG:  (stops) What is this? (touches the barrier and is fried in the finger) A barrier? Damn!

Cut to the Shichinintai moving inside the barrier, towards Mount Hakurei.

JKS:   We can see it now, Brother Bankotsu. It's Mount Hakurei. Anyway, what's with this atmosphere? It's worse than the last time we were here.

RKS:  I couldn't feel it at all.

BKS:   The sacred barrier has probably been strengthened. With this, neither Inuyasha nor Koga should be able to chase after us.

JKS:   We feel awful, even though we're human.

BKS:   Wait.

The Shichinintai stop. KAN is seen in the near distance.

BKS:   It seems that we won't have to go further.

KOH:  (walks up next to KAN) Lord Bankotsu.

BKS:   (walks up to KOH and KAN) Oh, Kohaku. Who is this white brat?

KOH:  Kanna.

BKS looks into KAN's mirror. JKS joins him and peers into the mirror curiously.

JKS:   What's this…?

JKS:   (shocked) This guy!

BKS:   Do you know him?

JKS:   That must be him. The guy that killed Mukotsu.

KOH:  He is Inuyasha's elder brother, Sesshomaru.

JKS:   (surprised) That's Inuyasha's elder brother?

BKS:   I see. So…

KOH:  Chase him and kill him as well.

BKS:   (grabs KOH by the collar angrily) Is that all you want to say after dragging us out here?! We were right in the middle of a battle with Inuyasha!

KAN:  You would have been killed if you continue the fight with Inuyasha.

BKS:   (shoves KOH aside) What are you saying, brat?!

KAN:  Bankotsu's Banryuu sword is unable to beat Inuyasha's sword.

BKS is furious. He swings Banryuu at KAN and holds it up close to her face. KAN doesn't flinch.

BKS:   Are you talking about the wound on this Banryuu sword? This is just a small wound.

KAN:  (touches the crack on Banryuu) It can become much stronger.

KAN looks towards RKS. BKS looks at RKS too and smirks.

BKS:   So that's what you mean. Renkotsu. Give up and hand them over. You have been exposed.

RKS:  What do you mean?

BKS:   (points Banryuu at RKS) I know it. You've been hiding the Sacred Jewel fragments from that woman, Kagome. And the Sacred Jewel fragments in your neck… (pause) You really want me to say out everything?

RKS:  Brother, I had been thinking about handing them over.

RKS moves Banryuu aside and takes out Kagome's container of fragments. He throws the container to BKS and turns around, peeved.

BKS:   You're obedient, Renkotsu. I knew you were smart. However, (shatters Kagome's container) don't do it again.

RKS:  Understood.

BKS:   Alright! Suikotsu.

SKS nods.

BKS:   And Jakotsu, you guys go finish off that guy called Sesshomaru.

JKS:   Ehhhh?!

BKS:   Not satisfied? I thought you'd like any guy.

JKS:   Inuyasha is the only one I like!

BKS:   It's definitely an unrequited love. Give it up. I'll take care of Inuyasha.

JKS slouches over and sulks helplessly.

BKS:   (looks at the fragments in his hand) Alright then.

BKS puts the fragments into Banryuu's crack. It throbs.

BKS:   This is great!

KOH:  I know where Inuyasha is.

BKS:   You're a clever spy.

KOH:  I'm not a spy.

KOH and KAN move off.

BKS:   (looks at Banryuu, thinking) This half-demon… groom your head!

INU-gang is standing on a ledge, overlooking the landscape.

SAN:  For water?

KAG:  Should we look for rivers and lakes?

INU:   Yeah. Until we find the scent of water and flower, that's what we should do.

SHI:   Perhaps it's the scent of a flower's first bud?

MIR:   But, what should we do about the Shichinintai?

INU:   If we keep chasing after Naraku, surely they'll show up. (thinking) Naraku, I'll find you for sure.
